Cypress, California

Cypress is a city in Orange County, California. Contrary to its name, the city never had many cypress trees, and in fact used to be called “Dairy City.” It has an approximate population of 49,000 people, with the median sales price for a home being $550,000.

Cypress is bordered by Hawaiian Gardens, Lakewood and Cerritos (NW), La Palma (N), Buena Park (NE), Anaheim (E), Stanton and Garden Grove (SE), Los Alamitos (SW), and Long Beach (W). Cypress School District serves the city's residents.
