Westminster is a city in Orange County, California. Originally, the city was named "Tri-City" because it was the amalgamation of three cities: Westminster, Barber City, and Midway City. Midway City refused incorporation, leaving only Barber City to be absorbed into the newly incorporated Westminster. The city has an approximate population of 91,500 people, with the median sales price for a home being $610,000.

Westminster is bordered by Garden Grove (NE), Midway City and Fountain Valley (SE), Huntington Beach (S), and Seal Beach (W). Westminster School District serves the city.
